The "Forced Labor 1939-1945" archive is now part of the "Oral-History.Digital" platform
News from Dec 11, 2023
Over the past three years, Freie Universität Berlin, together with various partners and with funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG), has developed Oral-History-Digital, an indexing and research platform for scholarly interview collections. From now on, the archive "Forced Labor 1939-1945" is part of "Oral History-Digital".
Interview projects like ours can post, edit, and make available their interviews with transcripts, short biographies, and photos in an indexing view. From now on, users will not only be able to access the "Forced Labor 1939-1945" interview archive via Oral-History-Digital, but will also be able to search the other interview archives available on the platform.
The functionality of the archive will not change. However, as a result of the move, user data will now be managed on the Oral-History.Digital platform, although it will continue to be hosted on the servers of Freie Universität Berlin. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have also been adapted to the new circumstances.
Archive users will be asked to agree to the new terms of use the next time they log in to the interview archive.
