We would like to invite you to the presentation of "Learning with Interviews: Forced Labor 1939 – 1945"
on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM
at the Refik-Veseli-Schule in Kreuzberg,
Skalitzer Straße 55, 10997 Berlin (subway station U1 Schlesisches Tor)
75 years after the Germans invaded the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941, the Freie Universität Berlin is going to present a new online learning platform on Nazi Forced Labor.
The online platform "Learning with Interviews: Forced Labor 1939-1945" demonstrates specific possibilities of learning with video testimonies at school. It was developed at Center für Digitale Systeme (Center for Digital Systems) of the Freie Universität Berlin and is freely avaiable at: http://www.lernen-mit-interviews.de.
After the presentation the students of the Ernst-Haeckel-Schule Marzahn-Hellersdorf are going to perform a part of the play "Ansichts-Karten von Gestern nach Morgen" (Picture postcards from yesterday to today) which was produced in cooperation with the theatre company spreeagenten Berlin und shows the examination with video testimonies on stage. Finally there will be some drinks and snacks prepared by the students of the Refik-Veseli-Schule which offers the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with all persons involved (students, actresses, teachers and the developers of the platform). We hope to see you there!
