In october this year the first volume with the title "Forms of Testimonies. Reports, Works of Art, Stories of Those Persecuted under National Socialism" was published containing articles by Cord Pagenstecher and Verena Nägel/Dorothee Wein about educational work with video interviews at the Freie Universität Berlin. The publication was available in German for free.

Now the second volume of the series "Education with testimonies" commissioned by the foundation "Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft" (EVZ) and edited by Dagi Knellessen and Ralf Possekel has come out. Contrary to the first publication the second book of the series is completely in English. It contains translations of the articles by Cord Pagenstecher and Verena Nägel/Dorothee Wein which already appeared in the first volume. The other articles are new and give an overview of the history of oral history in Israel, the Czech Republic Poland and Germany as well as the educational use and impact of video interviews with Holocaust survivors and other victims of Nazi crimes.
